Tools I have found to make Perch making easy.

I hate it when you buy a toy or perch and the fittings are made from something besides stainless steel. Birds get heavy metal toxicity just like us, but since they are so small it will build up much faster on a bird then a human.  Often the washers you get are too small and some only give you one small washer for a bolt? You need 2! I have even seen the wrong size washers on bolts and washers and bolts made from toxic metals.

I decided I would sell my fittings since they are all Stainless Steel and the Washers come in 2 sizes 1 1/2″ and the largest washer I have found 2″.

Wing nuts are all 1/4″ and fit my hanger bolts. I have found these will hold small and large birds easily.

Hanger Bolts for Perch making also all Stainless steel come in 1/4 x 2″ or x 3″ for larger Perches I have found these 2 sizes work very well.

And last but not least the hanger bolt drivers, they make perch making easy. These are not stainless steel but are a tool used to make the perches so the bird will never touch them.
